Who am I?

Who am I and why should you read what I have to say? Let me tell you what I am NOT. First of all, I am not a republican or democrat or libertarian. I am not a christian or muslim or jew or atheist. I am not white or black or asian. I am not American or English or Turkish. In the final analysis, I am merely a human animal and, as such, should only be ruled by the immutable laws of NATURE.

Man's laws are fiction. They exist to give the impression of permanence to a transitory system we call "society". When humans embrace man's laws, they surrender their freedom to an idea that someone MUST rule us. I disagree with this notion entirely.

Drachten ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drachten ) is a case study to prove that all men need are natural laws. In 2003 this small Dutch town began an experiment. Responding to an increasing number of traffic accidents the city leaders took the advice of an engineer and STOPPED regulating traffic in the city. Down came all traffic signals, stop signs and speed limit signs. At every major intersection a traffic circle was built. In effect, the residents of Drachten were told that they were on their own. There would be no traffic authority to tell them what to do any longer. There have been "effectively ZERO" car accidents in Drachten since 2003.

I am sure, and I have heard plenty of times, that "Americans are too selfish, greedy, reckless, etc....." for that kind of experiment to take hold here, but that misses the point entirely. It's true of any and all peoples in history that, when people collectively agree that they must be ruled, rulers and systems of rule inevitably emerge. However, when we, as a people, finally realize that we do not require rulers ... then our rulers will become impotent. So when we say, "That would never work in America" what we are really saying is that we don't trust ourselves and each other enough to live without the rules our government shoves down our throats at gun point. We are saying that we cannot be trusted to rule ourselves so we need to arm a small group of people and give them the right to initiate the use of force against any that do not comply. Logic tells all who will listen that the Drachten experiment would work here the same way it works there, because absent a strict set of rules to follow, humans have no choice but to rule themselves. In doing so they would find out very quickly that we can, in the vast majority, trust each other. Trust is just another form of love.

So what am I? A natural human being who has no need or want of categories and titles to fit into the vast landscape that is humanity. A natural human being who merely exercises his right to live and be free.
